What Are Encounter Groups?

There are wounds that don't heal in silence — and questions the heart has carried alone for far too long.

Encounter Groups are the sacred heart of Healing 💔heARTs💖. They're small, Christ-centred gatherings where real people bring their real stories and discover that they are not alone, not forgotten, and never beyond the Father's reach.

Rooted in the Elijah House inner healing framework and anchored in the truth of God's Word, Encounter Groups take you gently and intentionally into the deeper work of healing — not as a quick fix or a programme to complete, but as a pilgrimage. A journey home.

Each series is formed around a specific theme — a territory of the heart where so many of us get stuck. We teach, we pray, we reflect, and together we make space for the Holy Spirit to move in ways that only He can.

Our Teaching Series

Healing 💔heARTs💖 Encounter Groups are offered across several series, each one crafted to meet you where you are:

Journey of the Heart: An invitation into the foundational landscape of inner healing — tracing the threads of your story back to the Father's heart, and discovering who you were always meant to be.

Healing Trauma: A gentle, biblically grounded exploration of how trauma shapes us — and how the grace of God, applied to our deepest wounds, can bring genuine restoration and peace.

Elijah House Key Teachings: Drawing directly from the Elijah House inner healing model, this series walks through the core structures of the heart — bitter root judgements, inner vows, foundational lies, and the pathway to freedom through the Cross.

Unashamed: A series for those who've carried shame — whether inherited, imposed, or self-inflicted. Here, shame is brought into the light, and the truth of your identity in Christ begins to take root.

Identity and Destiny: Who are you — really? Beneath the roles you play, the masks you wear, and the wounds you've survived? This series calls you back to your truest self and forward into your God-given purpose.

What to Expect

Encounter Groups are warm, confidential, and unhurried. There's no pressure to perform, no expectation to have it all together, and no agenda other than making space for the Holy Spirit to work.

Each gathering includes:

• Biblical teaching grounded in truth and delivered with pastoral care

• Guided reflection — questions that invite you to look inward with honesty and hope

• Group sharing — as much or as little as you feel safe to offer

• Prayer — because nothing changes without it

These are not therapy groups, and Trixi is not a counsellor. Encounter Groups are a ministry space — a soup kitchen for the soul — where the broken are welcomed, the weary are fed, and the healing belongs to God.

Who Are These Groups For?

Encounter Groups are for anyone who:

• Has carried wounds they don't quite know how to name

• Feels stuck in the same old patterns, no matter how hard they try

• Longs for deeper intimacy with God but feels something is in the way

• Has sensed that there's more — more peace, more freedom, more fullness — and is ready to go looking for it

You don't need to be a seasoned believer. You don't need to have your theology perfectly sorted. You simply need a willing heart and a hunger for something real.
