Where Creativity Becomes a Key to the Heart

There is something that happens when a heart that has been locked in silence is given permission to create.

Creative Gatherings are the heart of how Healing 💔heARTs💖 ministers beyond words — drawing people into the presence of God through the language of creativity itself. These gatherings are not art classes, not performance spaces, not polished exhibitions. They are something far more tender than that: sacred spaces where the Holy Spirit moves through brush and pen and song and movement, meeting each person exactly where they are.

At the heart of every Creative Gathering are the 7 Creative Keys — seven God-given channels through which healing flows when we dare to engage them:

🔑 Faith — the foundation beneath every creative act, the quiet yes that says I trust You with what I make 🔑 Singing — releasing the voice that fear has silenced, letting praise become the very sound of surrender 🔑 Drawing — tracing the shapes of what words cannot reach, finding form in the formless 🔑 Painting — pouring colour onto canvas the way tears pour onto soil — releasing, expressing, restoring 🔑 Dancing — letting the body speak what the soul has carried, moving into freedom one step at a time 🔑 Writing — giving language to the inner world, turning story into testimony 🔑 Speaking — finding the voice to declare truth, to name what God has done, to say aloud what the heart has received

These aren't meant to be mastered. They are meant to be received — offered back to God as an act of worship, surrender, and healing.

What to Expect

Creative Gatherings are warmly inclusive, Christ-centred spaces open to all — whether you're an experienced artist or someone who hasn't picked up a paintbrush since primary school. Creativity here isn't about talent. It's about presence.

Each gathering weaves together worship, a short teaching or reflection rooted in Scripture, and a guided creative experience — all held in an atmosphere of safety, grace, and genuine community. You don't need to share what you create. You simply need to show up.

Some gatherings are themed around a specific key or season of healing. Others are open creative spaces — a table set, a canvas waiting, an invitation simply to come.

Who These Gatherings Are For

Creative Gatherings are for the seeker who suspects there's something in them still waiting to come alive. For the one whose grief is too big for words. For the overcomer who wants to celebrate what God has done — not just quietly, but beautifully. For the woman who was told she wasn't creative, the man who buried his voice long ago, the young person looking for a place to belong.

They are for the broken and the mending, the searching and the found. They are for you.

Monthly free community events include our beloved Paint Parties — held on the 4th Saturday of each month, 4–6pm — which carry the same spirit of welcome, creativity, and healing in a relaxed, accessible format.
