About the Course

Welcome to 'Run Your Race Well,' an advanced training series meticulously crafted for those who have already completed one or more Elijah House schools. We are thrilled to have you join us as we delve deeper into ministering to the heart, equipping you with new tools and a more profound understanding of God's transformative work.

 

Building upon the foundational principles you've already learned, this series transcends mere checklists to explore the intricate 'how-tos' and practical application of inner healing. We will refresh our biblical understanding of the heart as the core of who we are – encompassing our intellect, emotions, and will – and grasp what 'loving people to life' truly entails, moving beyond superficial fixes to deep, comprehensive healing.

 

This advanced training will equip you to navigate complex situations by:

  • Deepening Interview Skills: You will learn to weave together cognitive, heart, and Holy Spirit interviews to uncover profound roots and facilitate true healing, accessing memories beyond explicit recollection, including implicit and body memories.

  • Understanding 'Stuck Places' and Trauma Responses: We will explore the physiological and spiritual aspects of fight, flight, freeze, and fawn responses, understanding how unresolved trauma can keep individuals in a perpetual survival mode and how to facilitate complete processing.

  • Navigating Double Binds: Gain crucial insight into unresolvable dilemmas and the internal conflicts that leave people feeling 'damned if I do, damned if I don't,' impacting them physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

  • Cultivating Emotional Maturity: This series highlights the necessity of emotional health and maturity, helping you (and those you minister to) to put away childish ways and grow up into Christ in all things, understanding emotions as the intricate language of the heart.

  • Addressing Demonic Resistance and Cabals: We will equip you to recognise and contend with advanced spiritual warfare tactics, including conspiratorial groups of evil entities (cabals) that target individuals, movements, and even nations, especially at significant 'thresholds' of calling and anointing.

  • Tackling Persistent Strongholds: Learn strategies for when strongholds appear unbudgeable, exploring deeper issues like agreements with pain, generational patterns, and the critical role of forgiveness and renunciation.

  • Ministering to Challenging Cases: Develop specific discernment and tools for ministering to individuals with complex needs, such as those exhibiting traits of Borderline Personality Disorder, understanding the profound impact of attachment and bonding issues, including those stemming from the womb.

 

Our focus remains on allowing the Holy Spirit to direct our ministry, utilising the right tools at the right time, and to deepen our capacity for compassion and hospitality. This journey is not just about ministering to others, but also about your personal path of healing and growing up into the fullness of Christ, thereby expanding our vision to impact families, cultures, and nations, one heart at a time. Your Instructor

Instructor Name

Sandra served on staff with John and Paula Sandford and Elijah House Ministries, USA for 9 years. Sandra married her husband Peter in 2011 relocating to New Zealand, and establishing her own ministry, House of Nacham. (Nacham is a Hebrew word which means to comfort, console, to have compassion for; to repent, to have a change of heart, mind, conduct and purpose). Sandra has presented conferences, seminars, and Elijah House schools in 14 countries, and has specialised in the area of trauma resolve since 2005. She has taken trauma teams to Christchurch after the 2011 earthquake, international trauma teams into the typhoon Haiyan ravaged areas of the Philippines, areas destroyed by the 2013 earthquake in Bohol, Native American villages in Alaska, and trained counsellors and worked with women rescued from the sex trade in India. Recently she and her teams ministered to New Zealanders affected by Cyclone Gabriel. She and her husband Peter continue to work with Elijah House around the world; teaching, training, and equipping.

Guiding hearts toward healing, growth, and God’s restoring love. Patrizia Schwartz is a compassionate course facilitator, artist, and mentor whose work flows from a deep well of faith and creativity. Through her Healing 💔heARTs💖 ministry, she helps individuals discover wholeness by integrating biblical truth with the power of personal reflection and creative expression. Rooted in the promise of Isaiah 61, Patrizia gently leads others through journeys of healing and transformation — helping them uncover beauty in their brokenness and find renewed purpose in Christ. Her approach is both tender and insightful, combining heartfelt teaching, creative practice, and Spirit-led discernment to create safe spaces where lives are restored and joy is reborn.
